Here's where the blog takes a huge left turn.

Obviously, I haven't been writing lately. In fact, I haven't been doing much of anything lately - skipping hockey and soccer and napping to try and get over this flu that I've had for the past couple of weeks. Or at least, I thought it was a flu. As it turns out, my congestion, my fatigue, my dizziness, my (almost constant) nausea are all thanks to the tiny baby that I will give birth to in October. Yep, I'm pregnant. Now, this really shouldn't have come as a surprise to me. I mean, this is planned. It's just that, if all goes well, there's no getting out of it now.

Maybe a blog isn't the best venue to announce my impending motherhood to the world. Maybe I'm being selfish by posting this news and then turning my phone off so that no one can reach me to ask questions or, god forbid, "talk". Honestly, I'm so wrecked right now that I can't even give anything to anyone right now.
